The heated tack room with individual cupboards offers ample room to store tack and grooming items
The barn also has a wash rack and wash room.
Four large paddocks are used for daily turn out. Each has a hay hut to keep outdoor hay clean and dry.
The Pastures
Second Wind Farm sits on 87 acres of rolling hills in beautiful middle Tennessee.
The pastures offer year round grazing with wooded and open fields for trail riding and conditioning horses.
The outdoor arenas
Our main arena is a 125′ x 250′ pen fully equipped for roping and running speed events. The footing is solid in all weather and is a mix of sand and loam.
We specialize in barrel racing and pole bending so equipment is readily available.
Roping is also a concentration. Horned cattle and breakaway stock are normally kept. Roping equipment such a heel-a-matic and smarty jr are also available for use.
Our second enclosed arena has grass footing with jump standards for our English riders.
The Indoor Arena
The latest addition to our facility is a 80’x120′ indoor arena.
Its beautiful design allows comfortable riding during wet, snowy and hot seasons. Sliding windows and doors add light and air circulation.
